Valerie Krystal Anderson, 71, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2025, in Orlando, Florida, where she spent most of her life. Born on April 1, 1954, in the rolling hills of Clermont, Florida, she was the daughter of Rebecca McCall Anderson and Curtis Kirkland.

Valerie was a graduate of the University of South Florida and spent over 30 years as a respected journalist and editorial researcher at the Orlando Sentinel. She was known for her sharp intellect, love of truth, and unwavering integrity—qualities that shaped both her work and her life.

In 1988, Valerie made her dedication to Jehovah through baptism, a commitment that remained her greatest joy. She faithfully served as a minister of the good news for the rest of her life, sharing Bible truths with warmth, conviction, and sincerity. Her love for Jehovah left a lasting legacy in her family.

She is survived by her two children, Shawn Kirkland Anderson (Tanya Louise Anderson) and Shannon Rebecca Anderson; and by her beloved grandchildren, Jamari Anderson and Naima Sanai Anderson. She also leaves behind her sisters, Geraldine Wright, Coretha Ward, and Mary Merritt, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Valerie will be remembered for her quiet strength, sense of humor, deep love for her family, and unshakable hope rooted in her faith.

Vera Louise O’Neal

Vera Louise O’Neal

Vera Louise O’Neal, 75, of Daytona Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025. Born on February 18, 1950, in Waverly, Georgia, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Louise was known for her unwavering faith in Jehovah and her lifelong dedication to her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Lee and Vearleen Southall, and her sister Mary Lee Holland. She is survived by her loving husband and high school sweetheart, Wade O’Neal Sr., their four children, numerous grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Louise also leaves behind five brothers, four sisters, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Her life was marked by kindness, loyalty, and a deep love for those around her.
